He looked over at me, our eyes locked.

The kiss was one of great passion.
Passion restrained as if we were both waiting for a more private moment.

…He found her sitting by herself, bundled up & crying. He sat down beside her & without a word he gently lifted her chin & wiped the tears from her face. He wrapped his arms around her, she leaned back on him resting her head on his chest. He moved to kiss her & she responded. And in that moment all the cares of the world, of the day just melted away. There in his arms she felt warm and safe and found the peace she searched all day for. He took her face in his hands “I’m here for you, I’ve got you” he said. She nodded & returned his kiss. “Please” she begged, “I need to feel close to you right now.” “Done,” he said as he helped her up & lead her in. “We are the only two people in the world right now.
